Planned closures
We're always working to improve our UNESCO world heritage site, so occasionally we have to close some features. Please check before your visit to avoid disappointment.

Our Gardens are open for you to explore.
Kew Gardens closures
- Parking is prohibited on Kew Road and limited around the area. Consider walking or cycling to us if you are able to.
- There are no lockers or baggage storage facilities available.
Glasshouses
Early or partial closures
- The north end of The Princess of Wales Conservatory will be temporarily closed for maintenance throughout August 2025. Please use the south entrance.
- The Princess of Wales Conservatory will be partially closed from 3 to 5 September 2025.
- The Waterlily House will be closed on Wednesday 3 September between 12pm and 3pm.
- The Temperate House will close at 4pm on 4 and 5 September 2025.
Outdoor attractions
- The Children's Garden is closing early at 3.30pm on Wednesday 27 August for a quiet session.
- The Board Walk in the Natural Area is closed.
- The Hive will be closed on 2 and 3 October 2025.
