Join our knowledgeable volunteer guides on a journey through the Millennium Seed Bank’s Atrium, tracing the path of a seed from its arrival to storage in the sub-zero vaults beneath your feet. 

Along the way, peer through the glass into working laboratories and explore the two sides of the Millennium Seed Bank – from seed banking to seed research. Learn what seeds can and can’t be stored and discover how herbarium records at Kew Gardens support our work.  

Hear stories from our global partnerships and find out more about Kew science and our mission to conserve the world’s wild seeds.
